A Promise to Keep

My heart endlessly does it bleed

What does grow from soil sown

When we water the feeding seed

See me become this woeful tree

Dark times awaiting fated eternity

Where does one go when all the stars fall

Cast our shallow hearts to treasons call

Hear no bird to sing me good will

No gentle harmony shall stomp to thrill

Promises kept hold us to no regret

For you a thousand truths so I can never neglect

With honorable deeds the price be steep

Cruelty unbecoming the secrets we keep

I gave but one moment of time

To think of life within the redesign
