Golden Sun

Feathers fell on each day it rained of December pain

The sky let go and with silent whispers

Told sweet tales of catching summer kisses.

To each feather do I grant thee such splendor

Encumbered upon thee in most dire need.

Each of these be from the golden bird

I send you this with the biggest kiss.

Watch them fall for they need no eye to seek

The path of light through darkest times

Suffered have you from cruellest crimes

How unfair be the tree

That no bird shall land on and sing to me

No feather shall soon fall to rhythmic sways

I know you would give them to someone who can save

A true blessing be you

Love be your window we see through

Sown to your sleeve

How they make it bleed

Heart of high seas such a burden it be

Empty shadows to hold it next to thee

Sad days be there so many in years

Hanging heads of lost letters we post to ourselves

May final moments hold you with love

Longing sigh heard through alpine peaks

Spirit hold him

Return you to sand and sea

Feathers fall on shores of outward tide

Shall they find your never bride

Let this be Miss Remember

Never look back at what we surrendered

Lies built on false lions in Maine

Tomorrow the sun shall rise once again

For her and the lovelies we pray

World shall find where old warriors fell

Real men come forth and lift your spell

Serve with honour these beauties

In eyes we see our heaven

Greatest gift from angels be given

How I loved thee in every season

For you, dear Michael
